PRESENTS THE RETURN OF

MARY WILSON

OF THE SUPREMES

CELEBRATING HER CLASSIC MOTOWN HITS AND FAVORITE STANDARDS

SEPTEMBER 23 – OCTOBER 3

FEINSTEIN’S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, will continue its star-studded Fall 2009 season with the return engagement of one of the original “Dreamgirls” MARY WILSON in an exclusive two week engagement from Wednesday, September 23 to Saturday, October 3. Her new show will mix classic Supremes hits like “You Can’t Hurry Love,” “My World Is Empty Without You” and “Reflections,” with favorites from the Great American Songbook. All shows will take place at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

MARY WILSON, a founding member of the iconic group The Supremes, is a legendary figure of the rock and roll era. As a Detroit teen, along with Diana Ross and Florence Ballard, she helped to create one of the most successful female singing groups in recording history. Since then, Wilson has gone on to be a part of dozens of hit records, has written a best-selling autobiography, performed on stage and screen, lectured and toured the world.

As an original Supreme, Wilson is a much sought-after interview regarding the award-winning film Dreamgirls, currently on DVD. After covering the red carpet premiere for “Extra,” she endeared herself to a whole new generation of Hollywood stars and fans alike, including Golden Globe winners Eddie Murphy and Jennifer Hudson, as well as Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg. In addition to her tireless performing and trips to the studio to record her new album, she is lobbying state governments to pass a bill prohibiting bogus musical groups from cashing in on the names of such famous acts as The Supremes, The Platters and The Four Tops.
