MARY CLEERE HARAN

“MAD FOR MANHATTAN”

OCTOBER 7 – 18MARY CLEERE HARAN

FEINSTEIN’S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed “Best of New York” by New York Magazine and “an invaluable New York institution” by The New York Post, will continue their 10th Anniversary season with the return engagement of MARY CLEERE HARAN from October 7 – 18. The world premiere of her new show “Mad For Manhattan” will celebrate Mary’s adopted city through songs from the Golden Age of Broadway and Hollywood. All shows are at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

“’Mad For Manhattan’ is a paean to New York from a California native who first saw the city through the magic of Hollywood movies,” says Mary. “This is a tribute to uptown and downtown, Busby Berkley and Fred and Ginger.” We see the glitz and glamour of New York through songs by Leonard Bernstein (“New York, New York”), Rodgers & Hart (“A Tree In The Park” and “Manhattan”) and Cy Coleman (“I Walk A Little Faster”), in addition to numbers by George Gershwin, Cole Porter and Irving Berlin, among others. She will be joined by Musical Director Don Rebic on piano and Chip Jackson on bass.
